I've lived and worked in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs for years. Like most Sydneysiders, I was constantly asking friends "do you know a good plumber?" or "where's the best cafe near Bondi Junction?" — because Google just gives you a wall of ads and Yelp is basically useless in Australia.
So I built AllOverSydney. A directory of real, verified local businesses that I'd actually recommend to a friend. No fake reviews. No pay-to-play rankings. No businesses from Brisbane listed as Sydney.
I'm based in Bondi Junction and I personally check every business before it goes on the site. If it's listed here, it's worth your time.
Why we built this
Sydney has thousands of amazing local businesses — great plumbers, brilliant tax agents, incredible cafes — that are nearly impossible to find unless you already know someone who's used them.
The big directories are cluttered with ads, fake reviews and businesses that haven't updated their listing since 2019. Google Maps is great if you know exactly what you're searching for, but not so great when you just want to find "the best spa near Bondi Junction."
AllOverSydney is that directory. Every business is handpicked, every listing is verified, and every category is built around what Sydney locals actually search for.
